ADOROSCOPES is an illustrated guide to the 12 adorable signs of the zodiac “reimagined” by blind author and illustrator, Paul Castle. Each star sign is represented by an “Adoroscope”, a magical and minuscule creature approximately the size of a child’s pinky toe.
From Aries to Pisces, each of the 12 signs are introduced in the order of the zodiac. Besides their quirks and qualities, the book contains information about each Adoroscope, such as their birthdate, ruling planet, symbol, and element. You’ll even learn helpful tips for spotting an Adoroscope in the wild!

I’m Paul Castle, a blind author and illustrator from Seattle. “BLIND!?” You might be asking yourself, “Then HOW ON EARTH do you draw??” Well, like 85% of people in the blind community, I have a very small amount of vision. In my case, I see through a tiny “pinhole” in the center of my eyes.
Although it’s a slightly blurry pinhole, it’s just enough vision to continue doing what I love most: Making art! I have written and illustrated two previous books (“The Pengrooms’ and “The Secret Ingredient”) both of which were funded right here on Kickstarter, and I feel incredibly lucky to get to share these projects with an ever-growing audience.
My eye disease (called Retinitis Pigmentosa) is progressive and has no treatment, so I am making the most of the vision I have before it’s completely gone. Thank you for supporting my dreams!
